Disposable Soft Contact Lenses
Disposable soft lenses are the most popular type.
Daily Disposable Lenses: Are replaced every day.
Pros: There is no fuss with contact lens solutions for cleaning or disinfecting. Replacing your contact lenses every day is healthier for your eyes.
Cons: Cost, they are much more affordable if you wear your contact lenses only occasionally. Daily disposable contact lenses are not available in all range of powers.
Two Week and Monthly Disposable Lenses: The most common lens material we currently is silicone based. Silicone is a very oxygen permeable and therefore is healthier for your cornea.
Pros: You can get virtually any prescription in the lens; this includes toric for astigmatism and multifiocal (bifocal) lenses.
We carry all brands, including Acuvue, Biofinity, Airoptix to name a few.
Cons: These lenses must be cared for; meaning you must clean them upon removal and disinfect them at night with the proper care system. It is very important to follow the directions to avoid any risk of eye infection.
